The scene opens up inside the Raw arena. The crowd is pumped after Randy Orton's speech. Suddenly Edge' theme hits the p.a system and smoke fills the stage area. The crowd boos and Edge walks through the smoke and he stands on the stage and he smiles as he looks at the fans. Edge is dressed in his Rated R t-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers. The crowd boos even louder. Edge walks down the ramp and he stops halfway down the ramp and he raises his arms in the air and pyros shoot off on the stage. Edge then runs down the ramp and he slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Edge smiles and he gets up and he walks up to the top right turnbuckle. Edge climbs it and he smiles as he looks at the fans. Treating the boos as if they were cheers. Edge throws his arms out.
Jr: It sure didn't take Edge long to come out here.
King: Did you expect him to just sit back there while Orton comes out here and shoots his mouth off about a new era?
Jr: Not at all King. As a matter of fact. I didn't think it would take Edge this long to come out here.
Lillian: Ladies and gentlemen. Please welcome another superstar who will wrestle in the World Heavyweight Tournament. Edge!
The crowd boos. Edge smirks and he climbs down off the turnbuckle. Edge walks over to Lillian and he grabs her mic and he yanks it out of her hand as he walks by. Lillian stares at Edge for a moment before she figures its best to leave the ring. Edge walks around the ring as his theme fades. The crowd boos. Edge stands near the bottom right turnbuckle. He smiles as he pans the crowd. Edge raises the mic.
Edge: Its the same thing every time isn't it? You people are so jealous of me that it makes me sick!
The crowd boos. Edge smirks as he throws his arms out and he steps back into the center of the ring.
Edge: Don't deny it. I know its true. And I understand. Its so hard not to be jealous of me.
The crowd boos. Edge stands in the center of the ring and he points at the fans.
Edge: All you people are jealous of me. Every wrestler on TNA is jealous of me and every wrestler on Raw is jealous of me. Even Randy Orton.
The crowd boos and they begin to chant "RKO! RKO! RKO! RKO! RKO!" Edge smiles and he looks around the crowd.
Edge: Go ahead. Chant his name. But its not gonna help him. Randy Orton will not be wrestling for the World Heavyweight Title at Vengeance...because he isn't going to get past me.
The crowd boos. Edge stares into the camera.
Edge: Randy. You said that I better bring my A game because the WWE is about to enter a new era. You also said that your going to Vengeance to wrestle for the World Heavyweight Title. Well.
Edge smiles.
Edge: You were right about one thing Randy. The WWE is about to enter a new era.
Edge holds up his left hand and he holds up one finger and he waves it back and forth.
Edge: But it isn't what you think. You see Randy. We are about to enter a new era...A Rated R era...And it starts.
Edge points at the camera.
Edge: With you!
Edge' theme hits the p.a system as he drops the mic and he raises his arms as he stares into the camera. The crowd boos.
Jr: Well. Edge sounds like he's pretty confident going into Monday night. But I can't help but believe he might be a little too cocky for his own good.
King: Both these men are confident Jr but they have to focus on the match and forget about what's at stake at Vengeance. Otherwise someone's gonna get caught off guard.
Edge rolls from the ring and walks up the ramp and he steps up onto the stage. Edge turns back to the fans and he raises his arms in the air. The crowd boos.
